Growing up in Maitland, NSW, Savannah and Briony were immersed in music from a young age. This early musical education gave the sisters an introduction to rhythm and craft. Savannah and Briony slowly began to immerse themselves in club culture, finding their way to Sydney to DJ at the city’s hallowed clubs.
The duo have since taken the Aussie dance music scene by storm, hustling for a series of stellar wins including their unforgettable triple j Like A Version of Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right”, DJ-ing the Vogue x Barbie event, performing at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and delivering remixes for Stevan and Budjerah. They’ve supported some of dance music’s biggest names including Marshmello, RL Grime, and Elderbrook, and played some of the country’s biggest festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Field Day, Dark Mofo, Spilt Milk, Listen Out, Out Of The Woods, and many more.
Kinder have steered into 2024 ready to ignite dance floors with new single “Meet My Other”, Previewing “Meet My Other” in their live set at Field Day on New Years Day.
2023 saw Kinder release “Lightyears” with UK Producer BCBC which was the cannon firing that signified the beginning of Briony and Savannah Osei’s new chapter. It followed the release of remix tracks “Like It” and “This 1 Thing”, which were immediate fan favourites.
2022 Saw their four-track EP “Yenko” bridge the gap between Kinder as artists, and Sav and Briony as people through their music, allowing the pair to share and celebrate the depth of their Ghanaian heritage with the world. Led by singles “Come Along (feat. A.GIRL)”, “Rasta (feat. Gold Fang)” and “Bus Stop”, these songs took them from clubs to festival stages. Their liberating follow-up EP “Akwaaba” which featured the celebratory “Keep Up” saw them find their feet experimenting with primal club music and deeper lyrical themes, having produced the project at Jono Ma’s studio in Byron Bay alongside Jonti Danilewitz.
The sisters continue to push genres and bring their electric vibes to the dance floor, connecting with audiences in a unique way.
